The property has an incredible history which dates back to 1642, when noblewoman Camilla Savelli directed the build of the convent of Santa Maria dei Sette Dolori and the adjacent church. Following a meticulously studied restoration aimed at safeguarding the Baroque architecture, Donna Camilla Savelli reopened its doors to the public in 2008. Today it continues to offer guests a home where they can enjoy a Roman holiday surrounded by beauty, art, and culture.
