During the warmer months, Sonnwies has a weekly programme of activities for families including hiking, biking, cooking, treasure hunts, picnics in the mountain huts, wildlife spotting, pony rides or a visit to the nearby lake.
During the warm summer evenings, children can sit around campfires roasting marshmallows and sleepovers are organised in the barn amongst hay bales.
Keep the family active and escape from the screens by going back to basics and enjoy visits to the farm to collect eggs, learn the art of butter churning and cheese-making and then end the day sleeping under the stars with sleepovers in the barn amongst hay bales.
In wintertime, Sonnwies offers a free ski pass for the whole family who can enjoy direct access on the magic carpet and ski lift up to the beginners 1km ski slope located adjacent to the hotel. A free ski bus takes guests to the Plose ski resort down the road. The hotel also features its own ice-skating rink.
