Gilpin Hotel launches new Spa Lodge 100s

ASA Luxury PR & Communications Agency
Gilpin Hotel launches new Spa Lodge 100s Set in the picturesque, spacious and secluded setting of the Lake District, Gilpin Hotel has 19 guest rooms with private external entrances and various access to lounges and dining rooms throughout the property. The Lake House can sleep 12 and be booked for exclusive use, featuring its own jetty and swimming pool.

The new Spa Lodge 100 is one of five planned to open in 2020, offering guests a private spa sanctuary experience. These are 25% larger than the original Spa Lodges built in 2016 and feature a spacious open plan lounge, large circular bath, a stunning walled garden with private hot tub, steam room, sauna and treatment room equipped with infrared lounge beds. The interiors offer greenery and light, including a lightwell of plants, a forest-themed living wall and water feature.

Guests can enjoy Michelin-starred HRiSHi restaurant, offering fantastic local produce and culinary masterpieces, while at the hotel’s more casual restaurant, Gilpin Spice, an open kitchen serves delicious tapas-style pan-Asian dishes. Careful not to let new measures impact the quality of a guest’s stay, diners will need to pre-order their menu ahead of time and numbers in the restaurants will be capped to 24 diners, or four tables per room, to enable social distancing.

A new kitchen that was being built prior to lock down for HRiSHi is now complete – designed for three times the number of chefs – meaning that the kitchen brigade will also be able to practice safe distancing, each with their own fridge, oven space and induction hobs in order to deliver four Rosette, Michelin standard dishes whilst following COVID guidelines.

Gilpin’s Spa Trail has also been adapted to use automated massage chairs with cutting-edge Japanese technology, both at the Lake House Spa and in the new treatment room at Gilpin. Working on every part of the body from head to foot, the chairs offer a luxurious, social distanced, spa experience.

Guests of the Spa Lodges can indulge in their own Spa Trail; including a steam room, hydrotherapy hot tub and outdoor sauna, and at the Lake House there are private spa trails, with a private swimming pool, cedarwood hot tub, hydrotherapy hot tub, and indoor and outdoor saunas.

The spa team will still be around but instead of hands-on treatments they will be coordinating private spa trails, whether in room or at the Lake House, with lovely products, bespoke aromas, Champagne and cream tea, enjoyed by each couple in privacy.

Starting rates for Gilpin Hotel are available from £295 per night based on two adults sharing a Classic Room on a B&B basis. The new Spa Lodge 100 is available from £795 per night based on two adults sharing. Each lodge offers Sonos music in all areas, a 60-inch TV and electric car chargers.

Gilpin Lake House is available from £475 per night based on two adults sharing a room on a B&B basis. Treatments at the Jetty Spa cost from £75. The 3-hour Jetty Spa Trail cost from £100 per person.
