Drawing upon a wealth of experience ASA Luxury evolved from Ann Scott Associates, a dynamic PR and communications agency which develops cross platform strategies to build reputations, ​visibility and market share. ​

Passionate about travel our team counts classically trained PR directors, digital experts, writers, and industry insiders amongst its members. Uniquely, our founder Ann Scott began her career in the health and wellbeing sector, before transiting to international positions as sales and marketing director for luxury hotels and travel. 

Our company specialises in marketing communications and brand development, encompassing partnerships, content and growth strategy. The powerful skill of public relations is incorporated in its broadest sense, using intimate knowledge, understanding and hands on experience of both our clients and the industry.


Ann Scott, Founder & Director

After studying the sciences moved into the health and wellness world as a practitioner. She was invited by Dennis Davidson to join DDA, leading public relations company focused on film, with a growing leisure business.

Within six months Ann joined the board opening a new luxury hotel in Cairo. A year later Geoffrey and Jorie Kent invited her to become Sales & Marketing Director of Abercrombie & Kent, setting up a ground handling operation in Egypt and launching the company as a tour operator in the UK; she consulted the company for 17 years during which time set up Ann Scott Associates in 1982. Ann delivers a deep heuristic knowledge of luxury travel excelling at understanding just the stories press need to hear and clients need to tell. 

Ann practices yoga daily, plays tennis and golf, is committed to the piano and speaks Italian. 

Jenny Martinez, Director

Jenny is in her tenth year at the company and joined us having spent a decade at the Telegraph Media Group. Initially training at secretarial college she interned part-time on the Telegraph Magazine, perfecting her skills at proof-reading, fact-checking and note-taking. Following her commitment to the paper ensured a rapid career path as she soon became Desk Manager for the Saturday Supplements. Constant liaison with editors and freelance journalists enabled Jenny to build a strong media network in the culture, food, travel and sports sectors.

Jenny heads up operations at ASA Luxury and oversees all our events. When not working, she can be found supporting local farmer's markets or riding across the Kent countryside.

Jessica Smith, Director

Jessica studied French and Hispanic Studies at The University of Nottingham, which entailed a year spent studying in Paris and working at an advertising agency in Madrid. This fuelled her love for travel, and after graduating, Jessica joined ASA Luxury. Her multi-lingual skills, attention to detail, sociable nature and knowledge of the high-performance sports and broadcast world led to a series of early promotions. Jessica gained further international events and communications experience away from ASA working for a successful tech start up before re-joining the company in 2018 as Director.

When not in the office, Jessica spends her free time discovering new London restaurants and planning her next adventure.

Lisa Helmanis, Digital Content & Growth Strategy

A polymath with a degree in Fine Art from Goldsmiths University, Lisa achieved a postgraduate in Journalism, going on to write travel, wellness and lifestyle content for, amongst others, the Sunday Telegraph, GQ, Red and the Candy brothers. After launching and editing a publication for the Sunday Times, Lisa worked for tech start up icon Brent Hoberman. This encouraged her to embrace her entrepreneurial instincts to develop a unique marketing consultancy that grows businesses through a combination of storytelling, data and strategy. 

From site traffic growing articles to evocative video she oversees digital strategy and content, crafting the right format for the right platforms and delivered through the best mediums for ASA luxury. 

Lisa counts travel, painting, interior design and cooking as her passions. 

Jessica Staley, Account Director

Jessica grew up between Dubai and the UK with family living in the UAE throughout her school and university years. After graduating with a degree in History of Art from University of Leeds, Jessica worked as a PR Account Manager in Dubai before returning to the UK to join ASA. Her knowledge and experience equip her with an excellent understanding of the issues, needs and requirements when it comes to the development and implementation of 360 degree PR strategies. Even in the busiest of times, she always remains optimistic, calm and focused. 

Jessica loves to keep fit and enjoys cycling, running, yoga, skiing and ice-climbing.
